Education Costs
In Canada education costs remain extremely competitive, compared to most of the countries that have a lower academic standard such as Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Residences
Students have the option of living on campus in the first year of studies either in dormitories or in apartment units that house 4-5 students. It is customary that after the first year, many students move to off campus accommodations.

Financial Costs
A visa will not be issued until firm proof is presented of a student’s ability to pay at least C$ 20,000 for the first year of university studies. This will cover the cost of school fees, food and accommodation, health insurance, books and other related expenses. All students must demonstrate that they or their parents have the equivalent of C$ 80,000 in assets in order to cover the costs of four years of university education in Canada.

Scholarships and Bursaries
There are exceptional instances in which foreign students may qualify for a partial scholarship for which we will assist the students who are outstanding and can maintain a “B” average during the course of their studies. There are as well limited bursary funds available for fee-paying international students that you can apply, after you start your studies at a university.

Working while studying
Canada also has a unique plan whereby graduates of Canadian colleges and universities are given the opportunity to work in Canada for one year after they receive their diploma or degree in an area related to their studies. First year graduates can expect to earn anywhere from $ 40-50,000 depending on their field of study and the company by which they are employed. Having worked for one year with a Canadian employer, you would greatly enhance your employability. One of the most important benefits of studying in Canada is that you may be eligible to live in Canada permanently after the completion of your course or internship. Students who are “Canadian educated” receive high priority in the selection process, as they are familiar with the way business is conducted in Canada as well as their customs.
