Do I need a visa for Sri Lanka?
Most nationalities need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). You apply online at the official government portal (eta.gov.lk) — it takes about 10 minutes and is usually approved within 24 hours. Apply a few days before you fly and check the current fee for your nationality on the official site.
When is the best time to visit Sri Lanka?
There is no single bad month — Sri Lanka has two monsoons on opposite sides of the island. December to March is peak season for the west and south coasts (beaches, whales, Yala). May to September is best for the east coast (Trincomalee, Arugam Bay, Pasikuda). July to September is the "green season" — lush landscapes, fewer crowds, and our booking engine automatically applies a 10% discount.

Prices are in US dollars, per person, with no hidden fees — what you see is what you pay. Group discounts apply automatically (up to 25% for groups of 11+).
How do I pay, and is it secure?
You pay by card through a secure SSL checkout at the time of booking, and your booking is confirmed instantly. We never see or store your card details. If you prefer, you can also book via WhatsApp with our team.
What is your cancellation policy?
Multi-day tours: free cancellation (minus card fees) 30+ days before arrival, 50% refund 15–29 days before, and a 12-month rebooking credit inside 14 days. What's included in a tour?
Private air-conditioned vehicle, professional English-speaking driver-guide, accommodation at your chosen tier, daily breakfast, airport pick-up and drop-off, all fuel, tolls and parking, and 24/7 WhatsApp support. Site entrance fees, lunches and dinners are optional add-ons — or choose the All-Inclusive plan and everything is covered.
Do your drivers speak English? What about other languages?
All our driver-guides speak fluent English. French, Spanish, German, Mandarin and Japanese specialist driver-guides are available as an add-on — availability is limited, so book early.
Are your tours private or group tours?
100% private. Your vehicle, your driver-guide, your itinerary. We never merge bookings or put you on a coach with strangers (unless you book our dedicated group tours for your own group).
When can I see whales in Mirissa?
Blue whale and sperm whale season in Mirissa runs December to April. Outside those months sightings are rare and operators often cancel — if that happens you get a full refund or free rebooking on the whale watching add-on.
Can I customise my itinerary or change plans mid-trip?
Yes — that's the point of a private tour. Want an extra night in Ella or to swap a temple for a beach? Tell your driver-guide or message us on WhatsApp and we adjust as you go. Reviewers regularly mention this flexibility as their favourite thing about travelling with us.
Practical stuff — SIM cards, money, plugs?
Buy a local SIM (Dialog or Mobitel) at the airport for a few dollars — coverage is excellent. ATMs are everywhere; your driver-guide knows where to exchange money at good rates. Sri Lanka uses UK-style Type G plugs (and older Type D) — bring a universal adapter.
