Refund policy

Cancellations & Refunds — Summer Voyages

We know travel plans change. This policy applies to all tours, day excursions, car rentals, chauffeur services and airport transfers booked on summervoyages.com. All amounts are in USD.

Multi-day tours

30 days or more before arrival: full refund, minus any card processing fees.
15-29 days before arrival: 50% refund, or move your dates once for free.
14 days or fewer before arrival: non-refundable — but we will always offer a rebooking credit valid for 12 months.
No-show: no refund.

Day tours, activities & transfers

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the scheduled start.
Within 48 hours: non-refundable, one free date change permitted subject to availability.

Date changes

One free date change per booking when requested at least 14 days before arrival. Price differences between seasons (peak: December-March; green season: July-September) apply to the new dates.

Weather & operator cancellations

If an activity (for example whale watching in Mirissa) is cancelled by the operator due to weather or safety, you choose: a full refund for that activity or a free rebooking.

If we cancel

In the unlikely event Summer Voyages cannot operate your tour, you receive a full refund — including fees — within 14 days.

Force majeure

For events beyond anyone's control (natural disasters, government travel restrictions, and similar), we will offer a full rebooking credit valid 24 months in place of the standard schedule above.
