About This Tour

This is the 12-day Classic Circuit (Cultural Triangle, Kandy, hill country, scenic train, Yala safari, south coast) done as a small-group tour rather than private. Same iconic destinations, shared with 8–14 fellow travellers, run by a single dedicated tour leader for all twelve days. Significantly cheaper per person than a private tour and ideal for solo travellers, friends groups, or anyone who values meeting fellow travellers on the road. Twelve days is the goldilocks length: long enough to see everything that matters, short enough to fit a single annual leave window.

The Moments That Will Stay With You
🏔️ Sunrise at Sigiriya. The 180-metre granite monolith carved into a palace by King Kashyapa in the 5th century. UNESCO listed. The group at the top, golden light, a thousand-year-old view.
🛕 Dambulla cave temples. 153 Buddha statues, 2,100 m² of painted ceiling, and 22 centuries of continuous Buddhist use.
🙏 The Temple of the Tooth, Kandy. The 6:30 PM puja is the most atmospheric event on the tour.
🚂 The blue train from Nanu Oya to Ella. Reserved 1st-class seats for the group. The shared "I cannot believe we're really here" moment.
🐆 Yala at first light. 979 km² of dry-zone jungle where leopard sightings are about as likely as they get. Group is split across multiple jeeps so everyone gets an open seat.
🏰 Galle Fort. UNESCO listed. The ramparts at sunset is the right way to end the trip.
