Yala National Park Safari

About This Experience
Yala. Leopard country.
Sri Lanka's most famous reserve has one of the highest leopard densities in the world, spread across a dramatic mix of jungle, lagoons and coastal wilderness. Every safari here is different; none of them are boring.
The Experience
You track wildlife across Yala's varied terrain in a private 4x4 with an experienced driver-tracker who knows where the cats move at first light. Morning drives run 6:00–10:30 AM when the park is at its liveliest; afternoon drives catch golden light over the lagoons.
What You Might See
The Sri Lankan leopard, Yala's world-famous headline act · Asian elephants near the waterholes · sloth bears in fruiting season · spotted deer, sambar and wild boar · peacocks in full display · mugger crocodiles and monitor lizards by the lagoons.
